Paper Mosaics

My paper mosaics are made by using recycled magazine ads to create the look of hand-made and hand-glazed tiles on deep canvas. They are UV-lacquered to completely seal the work and eliminate susceptibility to humidity or fading. I add a three-dimensional look using a plasticized paper glue on the finished piece. Each original work of art has an inspirational quote written around the side. This little guy to the right is Ollie. He’s one of my favorite images. He’s just so darned happy.
